Your audio stays on your device
Ringtone Maker is designed so that audio editing happens locally in your web browser. When you choose an MP3, WAV, AAC, M4A, FLAC, or another supported audio file, the file is read by the browser on your device. The waveform, preview, trim operation, and supported format conversion are performed with browser technologies such as the Web Audio API. We do not upload the selected audio to a Ringtone Maker server, and we do not keep a copy of your source file or exported ringtone.
Your current editing session is temporary. Refreshing or closing the page removes the selected file and decoded audio from the page's working memory. The ringtone you download is saved wherever your browser normally stores downloads, and you control that file after it is created.
Accounts, analytics, and cookies
The service does not require an account, login, payment, or profile. At launch, Ringtone Maker does not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may process limited technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, security signals, and timestamps to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability. That infrastructure data does not include the audio file you edit.
Third-party resources
The site may request the Inter font from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's font service to obtain that resource, which may expose standard request information to Google. Links to external services, operating-system instructions, or third-party tools are governed by the privacy policies of those services. We do not control their practices.
Your choices
You can use a privacy-focused browser, block third-party fonts, clear browser data, or download the site resources through your normal browser controls. You should only edit audio you own or have permission to use. Do not select a sensitive recording if you do not want it processed by browser software on the current device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product changes, for example if analytics, error reporting, or new server-based features are introduced. Material changes will be described on this page. This policy was last updated on August 4, 2026.
